My story is about a brave young knight who gets the mission to go save the princess from the evil Schrek. he has captured the princess because her father and him are old enemies. The young knights name is Sir Lancelot. He takes adventures through dark forest just to save the beautiful princess. If he does save the princess he gets her hand in marriage. I made my story in inspiration and then put it into google docs. After goolge docs I put it into a keynote and put buttons on it so you can go to certain pages. I think my story turned out pretty nice. I thank Emily for helping me, because she was a great partner. What i liked about this project was the freedom we got to write our own story that we liked rather than having a certain topic we had to follow by. What I did't like about the project was finding the pictures because it was harder to find one that was a good picture and still labeled for reuse.

My sister is an awesome person. So of course I chose her to be my inspiration. My sisters’ name is Serena Davis. She is 16 years old. She has gone through a lot to get to where she is today and i am so proud of her for all she has done to help me be better.
She was born in Norfolk, NE on June 6, 1998. She grew up in Crofton and Plainview, NE. She moved to O’Neill when she was in the seventh grade. My brother and I joined her a year later after we bought a house. When she was 15 years old, she got her first job at the swimming pool in O’Neill. She is currently working at two women's farm, taking care of their horses, dog and other animals.
After she moved to O’Neill, her school grades were slipping dramatically. She had started to hang out with the wrong crowd and make bad life choices. She needed outside people to help her and our family.
She had some advise for me. She said, people shouldn't make the same mistakes and can learn from them. These words stuck with me because although she did make mistakes, she was able to pull her self out of the dark hole she had made. She turned her life around and we started getting along better. Now we are really close and I'm just so thankful that she turned her life around.
She inspired me by how she turned her life around and accepted the help from others. I was so happy when we started to spend more time together as a family and just the two of us. My parents trust her more now and we have had more time to bond. I couldn't be any more happier than I am now because I have someone who pushes me to do my best in everything.

My parents have always said to me that I need to follow my dreams. So that’s what I'm going to do. They also say that life is too short to settle something less than what you love. This has inspired me to do what I love and not to settle for anything less than that. I want to change the world someway. I know that if I work hard enough I can accomplish whatever I want to do. I won't stop until I have done just that.
I have goals for my future and they are very high goals but I set them high so I knew that failure doesn't mean you wont be able to do it you need to just keep trying. Music is one way for me to just feel special. There are people who are talented in different things but I don’t want to be good at all those other things I want to be talented in music and I've been working hard to fulfill my dreams. I want to be a singer and go to a performing arts college. When I become a singer I want to be the singer who sings her own songs that I like and I want to dress the way I want not how my manager wants me to dress. To have a beautiful, happy family is another goal of mine. I want to be known for sending a message out to the world that we aren't all perfect but we can just love ourselves for who we are.
Going to college will help me find new friends that will be there for me when I need them. This new education will teach me how to right my own songs and how to sing with more passion. It will also help me be more mature and grow up. The world is a tough place to live in unfortunately it is the only place we can live. It throws curveballs at you and all you do it get hit or show the world that it can’t beat you.
There are a lot of people that inspire me. My dad never went to normal college but he was a police officer and a prison guard but he stills tries his hardest to provide for his family so we never miss out on amazing opportunities. My mom went to college for being a teacher and being a respiratory therapist. I respect her for how hard she has worked to have a great life. I could list a lot more, but that would be wasting your time so I won’t.
College is a very big thing in my family. My parents say I have to go to college even if I don’t want to. When I go to college I know I will miss my parents so it will be hard but I know that if I want to be successful I will have to just see them every once and a while. I thank God that I have such a great family that wants the best for me and I know that they won’t want to say goodbye either.

The beautiful rolling plains
brisk, sharp, and golden
trees embrace the land
back roads full of gravel eat at your tires
acres put into farming
big country houses
blue sky full of stars
stars overflow the sky
I look for the brightest one
this is my gorgeous state
