Nebraska Ode Poem

The beautiful rolling plains
brisk, sharp, and golden
trees embrace the land
back roads full of gravel eat at your tires
acres put into farming
big country houses
blue sky full of stars
stars overflow the sky
I look for the brightest one
this is my gorgeous state

Persona Poem

Christmas Ornament

I get so tired of hanging all day
I work so hard just to look good
Waiting for christmas to pass by
The kids pulling on my legs
They are so excited to put me up
I just sit there being still

Found Poem

 Found Poem: Ronald Regan: Speech on the Challenger Disaster

I want to speech truly
of all the people I overcame
and left tragedy behind
I have not forgotten my courage

5 senses

the cool breeze blowing my hair
the fresh sweet air i breath
colors flashing my eyes
i could almost be blind
birds calm soft chirps in my ears
the taste of flowers finally blooming

War is a Prison of Violence

Family dying everywhere
moms and dads across the world
you see things unforgettable
some you wish you wouldn't remember
a bullet strikes your body
your still fighting
trying to escape from the bars that confine you
another bullet strikes
and then your dead

Blindsight Motivation Posters

Strength: Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.
Psalms  31:24

I know I takes a lot of strength to get through life. I have a lot more years to go but I stills have a lot more life left in me. Life is hard but there are a lot of people who have made it through  life successfully. They can make some
peoples lives so much easier. I know
that a lot of people who make music
have made my life a lot better. I want
 to do the same thing in my life and
make other peoples lives better. I
 know with my strength it is possible
 and that I know I can achieve this.

My Ghost Story

         Have you ever wondered the dark and dreary hallways? I do at O.H.S. I’m the only one that can hear the groaning of Lauren. She is my schools ghost. I hear her in the hallways. I can see her. I can communicate with ghosts. She is the most beautiful and spectacular girl I've ever met! To me she isn't a ghost, she is a normal girl. She wears a blue long dress that flows so perfectly as she walks. Also a tiara because she is a princess that used to live where the school was built. Also she has long brown hair that is straight, shiny, and sleek.
I met her the first day of school in 1998. Seventh grade is what I was in. My breath was taken away when I saw her. I asked my friend who she was but he said he couldn't see her. We both looked so confused. Then she looked at me and I started to blush. Later that night after school was over I went and tried to find her. She was in the abandoned scary locker 311. I went in and introduced myself. We became friends and talked for hours. I thought I was in love.
The next day I saw her and she looked so sad. I took her into the bathroom. No one ever goes in there anymore. She told me she had been confronted by the leader of the afterlife and they said she had to go to the afterlife. I told her “ I don't want you to leave and I love you.” We sat together crying the whole day. She is scheduled to leave in a few days. At the end of the week I went and spent the whole day with her. We played around with students and she acted like she was actually in the class.

She told me in fifth period that she had to leave. I left in the middle of class and got in trouble just for her. I didn't care I needed to say goodbye. Then she left and I cried for hours. When I got home I made some comfort food and watched TV crying like she used to in the hallway. I will forever remember you my Love Lauren.

Halloween at Hogwarts

Hi, my name is Hermione. I go to the school of Hogwarts. I am telling you about my halloween experience. Harry, walked into the great hall. He gasped with amazement. He could not believe how amazing the decorations where. There were jack ”o” lanterns floating in mid air. Bats flying in a fast motion. The ceiling had a storm were the lightning was pulsating in the sky. The table was set with gold plates. The ghost are at there happiest flying about the room. Next Proffesor Dumbledore stood up and gave his speech about another halloween together and how great it is for him to have us here.
Then all of the sudden the food started to appear. There were heaps of mashed potatoes    pilled high. Next to the potatoes was the gravy. A big bowl of beautiful brown gravy. There were also steaks the size of there heads that were shaped like ghosts. My favorite there was the delicious chicken noodle soup. Then the desert started to appear. There was pies of every flavor, especially pumpkin. Everyone started eating all that was there. They ate until they were bursting at the seams.

Next was the halloween activities. The houses Hufflepuff and Gryffindor had a quid itch match that night. I am on the Hufflepuff team. They wanted me to be the seeker so I took the position. We won with my help of catching the snitch. The snitch is the way to win every game. Our halloween at Hogwarts was magnificent.

My Nursery Rhyme

My nursery rhyme
I have a little sister, they name her Peep, Peep;
dabble the waters deep, deep, deep;
inclined the summits high, high, high;
Poor little
beast, she has but one baby blue.
The original rhyme by Mother Goose

I have a little sister, they call her Peep, Peep;
She wades the waters deep, deep, deep;
She climbs the mountains high, high, high;
Poor little creature, she has but one eye.

My unforgettable School Day

An Unforgettable School Day

Have you ever wanted something so badly that you have butterflies in your stomach? I had an experience like this once that I will never forget. My old reading teacher Mr. Dziowgo signed my whole class up for the Rotary Club’s writing essay contest about their four way test. The paper had to be over five hundred words long, and it took me two weeks to finish the paper. Finally we sent them in.
We waited so long to hear back from the Rotary Club. It was starting to grow uninteresting, and blasé as the months went by. All of a sudden one day my teacher was in such a happy, go lucky mood when he came into the room. I started to think that he had heard from them, but he didn’t. He was just so happy because we were doing a play in reading class. Then about a month later he had the same excited attitude.
I was so surprised when they announced it on the intercom. I had been awarded first place, and I didn't breathe for a little while! When everyone started saying good job, I hadn't even caught my breath yet.
The contest officials said I had to read it aloud to the Rotary Club in Holt County. I almost passed out when I read it aloud. My mom made me dress up in a white dress that had little white fuzz balls on it. If you know me, you would know I hate dresses. So I was pretty miserable. When I got done everyone clapped and I realized that it wasn't so bad after all.
So I now know that I shouldn't be scared of doing something like this. Because I won so I realized that I actually enjoy things like this. Now I know that I won’t be scared of competitions like this anymore. So I read those words loud and clear. I was so proud of myself and I will be in the future whenever I win things.

         Here is my room, reflecting who I am and how I am. My walls are covered in amazing colors of aqua blue and dark purple. I have pictures on my walls that describe who I am. There is one picture that is a picture of a cat. My bed is high in the sky because its a loft bed, and my sheets are in an array of all different colors. I have a desk underneath were I put my feelings into drawings, and my grandmothers clock that she gave me when she passed away, and last is my radio for my musical likings. I also have a lot of books i read before i go to bed
My floor is covered in a carpet of white. It is amazingly soft between my toes. I have a drawer next to my bed where I put all my clothes, and my secret box for my most beloved things. I have a basket of clothes I don't want that, Serena, my sister put in my room because she didn't want it in her room.
I have a magnificent collection of shoes. That my strong shoe rack holds. It also holds my jewelry box that my grandma gave me when she past. It is shaped like a heart because I want to hold it close to my heart forever.
I have shelves full of my things that help me live my life. I have a furry clock. That is yellow. I also have a mailbox that is sorta tiny and I keep all the things I have to do the next day. I check it every morning. In my closet I have a mirror and a drawer that I store my clothes in.

I am rich beyond measures.
